Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site construction activities and ensure safe, efficient project execution.
  • Develop and manage look-ahead schedules to maintain progress and meet project milestones.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trade partners, and self-perform personnel.
  • Monitor quality control processes and ensure work is completed to project specifications.
  • Maintain compliance with all contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project management, ownership representatives, and design teams to resolve field issues.
  • Oversee daily field reporting, workforce planning, logistics, and site operations.
  • Drive project performance through proactive problem-solving and strong leadership.
  • Ensure successful coordination of utilities, infrastructure improvements, and building systems installations.
  • Foster a positive team culture while mentoring and developing field personnel.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements to Apply

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience.
  • Proven leadership experience managing field teams on commercial, federal, industrial, or complex construction projects.
  • OSHA 10 Certification required.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification required or ability to obtain prior to project start.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, sequencing, and scheduling.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades and forecast upcoming work activities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply technical and operational information in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

  • Salary: $100,000 - $185,000 + bonus, benefits, and long-term career advancement opportunities.
