Known for its collaborative culture and long-standing relationships with clients and subcontractors, the organization continues to experience steady growth while providing employees with opportunities for career advancement and exposure to a wide variety of project types.Job DescriptionThe Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Construction - Harford County will be responsible for:Managing all on-site construction activities for multifamily projects from groundbreaking through turnover.Leading and coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure schedule, quality, and safety goals are achieved.Developing and maintaining project schedules, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective action plans as needed.Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, local building codes, and company standards.Conducting regular site inspections and quality control reviews to maintain high construction standards.Enforcing site safety programs and promoting a culture of safety among all project stakeholders.Collaborating closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and municipal officials throughout the construction process.Managing project logistics, material deliveries, and site operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.Overseeing punch list completion, inspections, certificate of occupancy requirements, and project closeout activities.Mentoring and developing Assistant Superintendents and other field staff to support team growth and performance.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
