Job Description

  • Lead and champion Lean manufacturing initiatives across the facility, driving continuous improvement and waste elimination programmes.
  • Facilitate value stream mapping activities and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Organise and lead Kaizen events, ensuring projects are executed successfully and deliver measurable operational improvements.
  • Partner with plant leadership, cross-functional teams, and high-performing teams to embed Lean methodologies throughout the organisation.
  • Promote and sustain a culture of continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and Lean training initiatives.
  • Drive problem-solving activities using Lean tools and methodologies to address manufacturing and operational challenges.
  • Conduct floor analysis, process improvements, facility layout reviews, and constraint identification initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and report key performance metrics, project progress, and continuous improvement savings.
  • Lead regular Gemba walks, steering committee meetings, and continuous improvement reviews.
  • Support multiple manufacturing locations and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sustainable Lean implementation

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or industrial engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, Continuous Improvement, and Total Productive Maintenance.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Experience leading or participating in Kaizen events is highly desirable.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Blac Belt certification would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with Visio or CAD software is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Must meet applicable U.S. export compliance requirements
