Job Description

  • Champion and lead Lean manufacturing initiatives across plant operations using proven continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Facilitate value stream mapping exercises and identify opportunities to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
  • Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects involving stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Support high-performance teams and leadership groups in driving measurable operational improvements.
  • Develop and implement solutions to manufacturing and process challenges through data analysis and Lean tools.
  • Conduct Gemba walks, track improvement activities, and ensure project metrics are maintained accurately.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance.
  • Support multiple manufacturing locations and contribute to enterprise-wide Lean transformation efforts.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence.
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles including Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, TPM, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; experience with Visio or CAD software is beneficial.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
