Their technology is built to perform in the harshest environments-from aerospace and missile defense to electronic warfare and advanced medical systems.Job DescriptionThis position will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:Developing and improving manufacturing and assembly processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.Leading Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5S activities, process standardization, and waste reduction efforts.Identifying and implementing process improvements within assembly operations to improve workflow, throughput, ergonomics, and manufacturing performance.Partnering with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency of existing and new products.Establishing manufacturing and assembly processes for new products and production programs.Designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing fixtures, tooling, and work aids that support safe and efficient production.Supporting new product introduction activities and ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacturing.Analyzing production issues, conducting root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions.Developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, process instructions, and standard work procedures.Supporting automation initiatives and evaluating opportunities to increase productivity and reduce manual process variation.Monitoring manufacturing metrics and driving process improvements to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.Collaborating with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to ensure successful execution of manufacturing goals.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
