Job Description

  • Oversee all day-to-day field operations for Class A interior construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and alignment with project goals
  • Develop, manage, and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving potential delays
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations, fostering a strong safety culture on site
  • Lead quality control efforts, including inspections and punch lists, to deliver high-end finishes that meet client and design expectations
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, designers, and clients to ensure clear communication and seamless project execution
  • Manage site logistics in occupied or tenant-improvement environments, minimizing disruption to building occupants and neighboring tenants
  • Review construction documents and shop drawings, identifying discrepancies and driving timely resolutions
  • Track and manage materials, deliveries, and equipment to ensure availability and proper installation sequencing
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, jobsite documentation, and progress updates for internal and client stakeholders
  • Support cost control efforts by monitoring labor productivity and helping to mitigate field-related cost impacts
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, tenants, and trade partners, representing the company in a professional and solutions-oriented manner

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as a superintendent with a commercial general contractor
  • Successfully completed commercial Class A renovations (range: $1M-$5MM)
  • Strong knowledge of safety procedures, quality standards, and construction sequencing
  • Proven ability to lead field teams and subcontractors effectively
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
