An established commercial GC is seeking an experienced Local Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects throughout the Atlanta market. This role offers a diverse pipeline across automotive, aviation, retail, Class A, light industrial, warehouse, and specialty commercial construction, without the extensive travel typically required for this level of project variety.

Job Description

  • Lead daily field operations from mobilization through closeout
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and schedules
  • Maintain project schedules while driving quality and productivity
  • Manage site logistics, sequencing, and subcontractor performance
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and internal teams
  • Maintain a strong, safety-focused jobsite
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and project stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience preferred
  • Strong experience with ground-up commercial construction
  • Background across mixed commercial projects such as:
    • Retail & Restaurants
    • Automotive Dealerships
    • Aviation
    • Light Industrial / Warehouse
    • Class A / Office
  • Proven ability to independently manage projects in the field
  • Strong subcontractor management and scheduling experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Atlanta-based with knowledge of the local construction market preferred
