Job Description

  • Lead all maintenance and reliability activities across the site to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and execute maintenance strategies that improve equipment availability, reliability, and lifecycle performance.
  • Build, coach, and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a strong safety-focused culture.
  • Establish and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve asset utilization.
  • Lead maintenance planning and scheduling activities, including shutdowns, resource allocation, and contractor management.
  • Manage repair and maintenance budgets, forecast spending, and recommend asset investment strategies.
  • Analyze performance metrics and maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
  • Oversee spare parts management and inventory strategies to balance cost and operational risk.
  • Lead maintenance-related capital projects from planning through implementation and commissioning.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to improve overall plant performance.
  • Promote Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or skilled trades leadership within manufacturing.
  • Proven experience leading maintenance teams and managing contractors, vendors, and technical resources.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment, mechanical systems, utilities, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related manufacturing infrastructure.
  • Expertise in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, reliability programs, planning, scheduling, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience managing maintenance budgets, capital projects, and asset improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and demonstrated commitment to safety leadership.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience; Six Sigma or Green Belt certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience utilizing CMMS, ERP systems, and maintenance performance metrics to drive decision-making
