Team members benefit from a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement, professional development, integrity, and a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.Job DescriptionSupport the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of new automation and process equipment.Drive improvements in manufacturing efficiency, quality, reliability, and operational safety through automation solutions.Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, controls, PLC, and HMI-related issues to minimize downtime.Collaborate with maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors to resolve equipment and process challenges.Provide technical support during equipment startups, shutdowns, process upsets, and abnormal operating conditions.Implement safety initiatives and proactively identify opportunities to reduce operational risk.Support Process Safety Management (PSM) programs, including Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), and Mechanical Integrity activities.Participate in process hazard reviews and help deploy controls and safeguards for manufacturing operations.Lead root cause investigations and implement long-term corrective actions.Ensure compliance with electrical standards, hazardous location requirements, and internal safety procedures.Develop and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, loop diagrams, and technical documentation.Support capital project planning and execution for automation and reliability improvements.Manage small to mid-sized electrical and automation projects from concept through completion.Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the facility.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
