Job Description

This Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Developing and updating process documentation, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Identifying and implementing cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and providing technical manufacturing support.
  • Designing tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production layouts.
  • Collaborating with engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Managing engineering changes and supporting new product launches.
  • Training production personnel on processes, equipment, and best practices

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Manufacturing Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3-5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production methods.
  • Experience within aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or similarly regulated environments.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
