Job Description

  • Design and improve manufacturing processes to support efficient production of complex electromechanical and cable assembly products.
  • Develop clear, detailed work instructions and assembly documentation to ensure consistent product quality and repeatability.
  • Collaborate with design and project engineers to transition new products from development into production.
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing, testing, and quality-related issues to minimize defects and downtime.
  • Evaluate production performance and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
  • Support the development and validation of tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment used in assembly operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, employee training, and compliance with quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments with a focus on process improvement and production efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production, testing, and quality issues using a hands-on, analytical approach.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Effective collaborator who can work across engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality products in a regulated environment.
