Job Description

    • Provide hands-on technical support to resolve production and manufacturing challenges on the shop floor.
    • Investigate tooling, machining, and process-related issues to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability.
    • Partner with production personnel, machinists, toolmakers, and quality teams to implement effective solutions.
    • Support progressive tooling performance by identifying wear, failures, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend enhancements to increase throughput and reduce downtime.
    • Assist with CNC machining strategies, fixturing, tooling selection, and process optimization initiatives.
    • Lead root-cause investigations and corrective action efforts related to quality and production concerns.
    • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process improvement recommendations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Hands-on manufacturing professional with experience supporting production in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of tooling, machining, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Comfortable working directly with operators, machinists, toolmakers, inspectors, and leadership teams.
  • Skilled at performing root-cause analysis and driving corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent production needs.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset and commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
