Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a fast-growing manufacturing team supporting mission-critical power infrastructure projects. This position will be instrumental in enhancing production processes, driving operational efficiency, and spearheading lean manufacturing initiatives within a custom fabrication environment.

Job Description

  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes and workflows
  • Support fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing operations
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and work instructions
  • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support manufacturing and production needs
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Assist with process optimization and implementation of best practices across the facility

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or related engineering role
  • Background in sheet metal manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Sponsorship is not provided
