Job Description

Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve quality and increase manufacturing efficiency.
    • Analyze production processes and recommend enhancements to manufacturing methods and controls.
    • Monitor manufacturing equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
    • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
    • Identify and promote workplace safety improvements and risk reduction opportunities.
    • Support capacity planning, capital investment projects and return-on-investment analysis.
    • Conduct time studies and support production planning initiatives.
    • Assist with the development and maintenance of production controls, operating procedures, quality systems and employee training programs.
    • Coordinate and support new product introductions and manufacturing launches.
    • Design, develop, evaluate and justify tooling, machinery and equipment improvements.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams representing manufacturing operations.
    • Support assembly activities and provide technical expertise relating to engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements.

The Successful Applicant

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • 1-5 years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
    • Exposure to fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operations.
    • CAD proficiency.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
    • Hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
