Job Description

  • Design fixtures, tooling, and production equipment using Autodesk Inventor (SolidWorks experience also considered)
  • Support new product introductions and lead APQP activities
  • Own and maintain production routers, BOMs, and related manufacturing documentation
  • Analyze production data, KPIs, and manufacturing costs to identify improvement opportunities
  • Create and update work instructions, test procedures, and process documentation
  • Manage engineering change notices (ECNs) and process updates
  • Provide technical support and training to production teams
  • Partner with operations to improve safety, quality, productivity, and throughput
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles

The Successful Applicant

REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, or a related manufacturing environment
  • Experience designing fixtures for production and assembly applications
  • Strong understanding of production routing, BOM management, and ERP systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience; certification (green or above) preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both engineering and production teams

PREFERRED:

  • Experience supporting new product launches
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Power BI or other manufacturing analytics experience
  • Hands-on experience driving measurable process improvements
