The company produces engineered metal components and assemblies serving industrial, automotive, structural, and emerging markets across multiple facilities. The organization is privately held and in an active phase of operational and quality systems development.Job DescriptionLead and support continuous improvement initiatives across complex manufacturing operations.Develop, document, and optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and throughput.Conduct root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and drive long-term process stability.Analyze production performance using data-driven methods to identify improvement opportunities.Apply Lean manufacturing principles, including waste reduction, workflow optimization, and standard work creation.Support new business opportunities through technical reviews, manufacturability assessments, and cost-competitive quoting.Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input to reduce complexity, cost, and lead time.Lead the industrialization of new products, including tooling requirements, process modeling, equipment selection, and documentation.Plan and execute process validation activities (e.g., PPAP/APQP), including capability studies, trials, and risk assessments.Develop workflows, work instructions, and process controls to ensure smooth transition from prototype to full production.Conduct process assessments and feasibility analyses for new and existing products.Prepare or support manufacturing cost estimates and process-based quotations, including materials, cycle times, tooling, and labor.Collaborate cross-functionally to evaluate drawings, specifications, and product requirements.Support technical discussions with customers, offering solutions to improve manufacturability and align with business objectives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
