Job Description

This role reports directly into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is responsible for:

  • Developing and optimizing MRO processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times
  • Analyzing production data to identify bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with technicians and quality teams to resolve technical issues
  • Creating work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
  • Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma)
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Evaluating tooling, equipment, and layout improvements for operational efficiency
  • Assisting in new product introduction and transition into MRO workflows

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or MRO environments
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Knowledge of aerospace or high-reliability component repair processes preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems and production planning tools
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
