We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a rapidly growing manufacturer supporting critical power infrastructure projects. This role will focus on driving manufacturing improvements, supporting production operations, and implementing lean initiatives within a custom fabrication environment.

About Our Client

Our client is a family-owned manufacturer specializing in the design and production of custom generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and electrical housings that protect backup power systems. They provide full turnkey solutions including engineering, fabrication, installation, and testing for critical-power infrastructure applications.

Job Description

  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes and workflows
  • Support fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing operations
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and work instructions
  • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support manufacturing and production needs
  • Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Assist with process optimization and implementation of best practices across the facility

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in a Manufacturing Engineer or related engineering role
  • Background in sheet metal manufacturing environments
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
