This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering leader looking to join a stable and growing manufacturing organization where technical expertise, innovation, and leadership are highly valued.Job DescriptionLead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team, providing technical direction, mentorship, and project leadership.Oversee engineering activities supporting manufacturing operations, customer requirements, and new product development initiatives.Drive process optimization projects focused on improving productivity, quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling strategies, work instructions, engineering change procedures, and production plans.Review customer requirements and product designs to ensure manufacturability and efficient production.Design and improve production tooling, including progressive and compound die applications.Collaborate with production, tooling, quality, and commercial teams to resolve technical challenges and support ongoing operations.Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, managing budgets, timelines, resources, and deliverables.Support quality initiatives including process validation, corrective actions, capability studies, and continuous improvement activities.Analyze manufacturing performance data and identify opportunities for automation, waste reduction, and operational excellence.Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders while contributing to business growth and innovation initiatives.Champion Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and cost reduction programs throughout the operation.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
