With a focus on long-term growth, operational efficiency, and world-class manufacturing standards, the organization offers a stable environment where ambitious engineering professionals can further develop their careers while leading strategic projects that deliver measurable business results.Job DescriptionReporting directly into the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for:Lead and manage the Manufacturing Engineering function to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.Develop, mentor, and coach engineering teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Drive lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, and 5S programs.Plan, manage, and execute capital expenditure projects from concept through implementation and validation.Develop equipment specifications and oversee the qualification and acceptance of new manufacturing equipment.Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, procurement, quality, and engineering teams to optimize performance.Monitor budgets, control expenditures, and deliver cost reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.Lead workforce planning, facility layout improvements, capacity analysis, and resource utilization activities.Investigate operational and production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.Support preventive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Lead risk reduction and process improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing performance and reduce operational risk.Deliver productivity improvements through process optimization, training, and enhanced operational disciplines.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
