The company emphasizes operational excellence, lean manufacturing, technical problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration.Job DescriptionLead and supervise a team of Manufacturing Engineers supporting poduction and process improvement initiativesDevelop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughputPrepare estimates for production times, labor requirements, equipment, materials, and related manufacturing costsUtilize CAD software, preferably CATIA V5, to create 3D models from customer drawings and engineering requirementsGenerate manufacturing drawings, product structures, and technical documentation to support productionEstablish and maintain manufacturing processes, tolerances, and work instructionsCollaborate closely with production, quality, and other departments to prioritize engineering activitiesSupport shop floor operations and subcontractors by resolving manufacturing and engineering challengesDrive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to improve operational performanceAnalyze production issues and implement corrective actions using strong problem-solving methodologiesEnsure compliance with customer requirements, aerospace specifications, and manufacturing standardsCommunicate effectively across departments and shifts to support production objectivesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
