Job Description

The Manufacturing Estimator will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Analyze customer drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
  • Develop manufacturing routings, cycle times, and labor estimates.
  • Create detailed cost models and customer quotations.
  • Source material and outside processing costs from supplier networks.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact throughout the RFQ process.
  • Lead and mentor junior estimating personnel.
  • Drive process improvements and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, estimating, process engineering, or related precision manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of CNC turning, milling, Swiss machining, grinding, and secondary operations.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
