They are committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, employee development, and delivering high-quality products to their customers.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production associates.Establish performance expectations, accountability measures, and employee development plans.Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and cross-training initiatives.Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Direct daily manufacturing operations to achieve production schedules and customer delivery commitments.Monitor key performance indicators including throughput, labour efficiency, scrap reduction, and equipment utilisation.Coordinate resources to maximise production output while maintaining quality standards.Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions related to production issues and non-conformances.Partner with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Operations teams to improve processes and equipment performance.Support preventive maintenance programmes, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions.Maintain accurate process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.Drive continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, efficiency, and operational KPIs.Identify operational risks and opportunities and develop strategies to improve department performance.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
