Manufacturing Manager - Industrial - Springfield, MA

• Lead, develop, and mentor the manufacturing engineering team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards while driving improvements across operations.
• Oversee tooling design, process development, manufacturing methods, and engineering support activities.
• Lead capital equipment planning, equipment acquisitions, installation projects, and production readiness activities.
• Develop and manage long-range capital improvement plans, project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Analyze manufacturing processes, workflows, facility layouts, and workforce utilization to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Investigate production, quality, equipment, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, Kanban, SMED, 5S, and other continuous improvement programs.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to optimize manufacturing performance.
• Support risk management initiatives, process improvements, and operational excellence programs.
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve throughput, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
