Job Description

The Manufacturing Manager will oversee daily production operations, leading teams and resources to ensure world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost management. This individual will partner closely with plant leadership to drive operational excellence, workforce development, and sustainable business improvements while maintaining a highly engaged and accountable culture.

  • Lead all manufacturing activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
  • Develop and mentor production leaders while fostering workforce engagement.
  • Implement strategic plans to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
  • Utilise operational metrics and data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record of managing production teams in a fast-paced industrial environment. They will possess strong operational acumen, exceptional people leadership skills, and demonstrated success implementing Lean principles to deliver measurable performance improvements.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum seven years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Proven ability to lead change, develop talent, and build high-performing teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems, production metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
