The organization offers a stable and fast-paced workplace where individuals can build their careers while helping drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business performance.Job DescriptionLead, supervise, and develop teams responsible for shipping operations, distribution coordination, and spare parts fulfillment.Plan, prioritize, and assign daily workloads to ensure customer orders and outbound shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.Manage all outbound shipping activities, including picking, packing, labeling, staging, documentation, loading, and shipment release.Ensure compliance with customer requirements, transportation regulations, and internal quality standards.Coordinate carrier schedules, freight pickups, dock activities, and shipping priorities to support delivery commitments.Review and validate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, freight records, and shipment confirmations.Track key operational metrics such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, productivity, backlog levels, and service performance.Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, delivery issues, damaged freight, and customer concerns.Support spare parts fulfillment processes by ensuring timely order processing and inventory accuracy.Collaborate with production, planning, purchasing, customer service, quality, finance, and warehouse teams to meet business objectives.Maintain accurate transactions and records within ERP, inventory, and shipping systems.Oversee inventory control activities including cycle counting, stock reconciliations, audits, and variance investigations.Review inventory levels, demand trends, replenishment requirements, and stocking strategies for spare parts and finished goods.Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, shipping processes, inventory management, and operational efficiency.Participate in continuous improvement projects, process optimization initiatives, and corrective action activities.Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with company policies and housekeeping standards.Provide training, coaching, and ongoing development for team members.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
