Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers.
  • Manage workload planning and resource allocation across multiple projects.
  • Deliver complex machine design and industrial automation projects from concept to completion.
  • Develop engineering calculations, technical documentation, and design standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare project proposals, schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support business development activities and identify new project opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering function.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of machine design experience within industrial automation.
  • Experience working with robotics, servo systems, custom machinery, or automated equipment.
  • At least 5 years of experience using SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of machine design principles and engineering best practices.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience leading, mentoring, or developing engineering teams.
  • Experience with FEA, CFD, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
  • Professional Engineer registration or eligibility is beneficial.
