Job Description

You will report into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for...

  • Designing and developing structural and mechanical components for UAV platforms using CAD tools
  • Conducting stress, thermal, and fatigue analyses to validate design performance
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams
  • Supporting prototype builds, testing, and design iterations in lab and field environments
  • Creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Evaluating materials, manufacturing methods, and cost optimization strategies
  • Participating in design reviews and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing corrective design improvements

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace, UAV, or high-performance mechanical design
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar)
  • Experience with FEA tools and structural analysis methods
  • Knowledge of composite materials and lightweight design principles
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards and testing protocols
