Job Description

  • Design and develop custom automation equipment, machine components, and manufacturing systems.
  • Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Participate in new product development, machine improvement, and engineering change projects.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
  • Support projects from concept, prototyping, testing, and validation through final production.
  • Troubleshoot design challenges and develop practical engineering solutions.
  • Reverse engineer existing components and systems when required.
  • Develop testing approaches and design criteria to validate product performance.
  • Work closely with customers, project managers, and internal teams to meet technical and delivery requirements.
  • Assist with technical proposals, quotations, and engineering support for new business opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 3-7 years of engineering design experience within manufacturing, automation, machinery, or industrial equipment environments.
  • Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable CAD software.
  • Experience designing custom machinery, automation cells, robotics integration, or production equipment is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
