Job Description

  • Design, develop, and document electro-mechanical systems and assemblies from concept through production release.
  • Create manufacturing drawings, engineering documentation, and technical specifications for custom and next-generation products.
  • Integrate motors, actuators, gearing, sensors, bearings, controllers, drives, and related components into complete system designs.
  • Conduct product analysis, validation testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification at both component and system levels.
  • Develop test procedures, assembly instructions, and technical reports to ensure customer and quality requirements are achieved.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and customers to support successful project execution and product delivery.
  • Create and maintain bills of materials and support component sourcing activities.
  • Manage multiple engineering projects and prioritize activities to meet deadlines and business objectives.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and drive corrective actions for product improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance, share knowledge, and support the development of fellow engineers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes and product development methodologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • 4 - 8 years of experience in product design and development within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong electro-mechanical engineering knowledge with experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Advanced CAD skills, ideally using SolidWorks, with an understanding of GD&T principles and manufacturing requirements.
  • Experience producing engineering documentation and maintaining design control processes.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a practical, hands-on engineering approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proven project and time management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
