Job Description

  • Manage daily on-site construction activities for high-end interior fit-outs
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Enforce site safety protocols and ensure compliance with NYC regulations
  • Lead site meetings and provide progress updates to project stakeholders
  • Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and execution
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays
  • Oversee project closeout, punch lists, and turnover processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

    • Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial and/or retail interior projects in NYC
    • Strong knowledge of high-end interior finishes and construction methods
    • Ability to manage multiple trades in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Deep understanding of NYC building codes, safety standards, and union environments
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering exceptional quality
    • Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools
