With a strong foundation in supplements, vitamins, and probiotics, the company blends cutting-edge research with trusted consumer brands to bring high-quality products to market.Job DescriptionPerform routine microbiological testing with a focus on probiotic enumeration and assay methodsDevelop, validate, and optimize microbiological methods for probiotics, including enumeration techniquesLead and support technical projects (method transfers, validations, process improvements)Serve as SME for environmental monitoring programs (EMP), including trending, investigations, and auditsConduct environmental sampling (air, water, surfaces) and analyze resultsExecute OOS investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA related to microbiological testingMaintain lab readiness: media prep, equipment calibration, inventory, and waste managementWrite and revise SOPs, protocols, and technical documentationTrain lab personnel on microbiology methods, including probiotic handling and enumeration best practicesCollaborate with internal teams, external labs, and vendorsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
