The Superintendent will lead field operations for a $30M ground-up multifamily project consisting of a 4-story, 87-unit wood frame building in Charlotte, NC. This role is highly urgent with sitework scheduled to begin in July and offers the opportunity to step into a visible, full-cycle leadership role.

Job Description

  • Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through completion
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, and jobsite coordination
  • Ensure safety, quality control, and adherence to project timelines
  • Drive project milestones and sequencing, particularly for wood-frame multifamily construction
  • Utilize scheduling tools and project management software
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and leadership team
  • Maintain strong jobsite leadership and communication

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on ground-up multifamily projects
  • Experience with wood frame construction (required)
  • Ability to lead projects in the $20M-$40M range
  • Strong scheduling experience (Microsoft Project preferred)
  • Willingness to travel OR local to Charlotte
  • Stable work history with strong tenure preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Base Salary: $85K - $115K
  • Vehicle: Company truck + gas card

  • Per Diem: ~$30-$40/day (when traveling)
