Job Description

  • Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations and compliance with industry standards.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and adherence to client requirements.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and ensure smooth progress.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders to report on project status and resolve challenges.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and daily reports.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials on-site.

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience leading ground-up multifamily construction projects
  • Experience with garden-style, podium, wrap, student housing, or mixed-use developments preferred
  • Strong understanding of multifamily construction sequencing and project logistics
  • Experience managing large subcontractor teams and multiple trades simultaneously
  • Knowledge of site development, wood framing, structural systems, and building envelope construction
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
