Our client is a well-established manufacturer serving industrial and engineered product markets, with a strong presence in Northeast Ohio. They are investing heavily in process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational scalability.

Job Description

  • Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across operations
  • Identify and execute projects to improve efficiency and reduce waste
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and process redesign
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and quality teams
  • Track and report key operational metrics and KPIs
  • Train and mentor teams on Lean principles and tools
  • Support leadership with strategic improvement initiatives
  • Drive standardization and best practice implementation

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Engineering or related preferred)
  • 5-10 years in Lean, CI, or operations-focused roles
  • Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience leading Kaizen events and improvement projects
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration



Preferred:

  • Six Sigma Belt/Formal Lean Certifications
  • Experience in metals, industrial, or high-volume manufacturing
  • Track record of measurable operational improvements
