Job Description

  • Lead daily operations across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and safety functions.
  • Develop, implement, and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and project execution.
  • Manage production schedules, capacity planning, workflow optimization, and resource allocation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate operational bottlenecks and improve performance.
  • Oversee purchasing activities and supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are achieved.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and technical teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Monitor inventory management strategies and material availability to meet customer deadlines.
  • Provide operational guidance during project planning and execution activities.
  • Foster communication and alignment across multiple departments.
  • Champion workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct operational reviews, audits, and safety-related training activities.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage operational teams while promoting accountability and employee growth.
  • Establish performance metrics and support succession planning and workforce development initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing or operations environments.
  • Experience overseeing procurement, production, logistics, and operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of regulated manufacturing environments and quality systems.
  • Proven track record managing multiple priorities and cross-functional projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with engineering, project management, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems and business management software.
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical, industrial equipment, process systems, or similar technical industries is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of GMP environments, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Previous experience with high-purity systems, stainless steel fabrication, or specialized process equipment would be beneficial.
