Job Description

The Operations Manager serves as a critical operational leader across the facility. This role is responsible for leading warehouse, logistics, inventory, safety, and team performance while partnering closely with production leadership to support future growth.

  • Oversee daily warehouse, distribution, logistics, inventory, and operational activities across the site.
  • Lead and develop supervisors and team members while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the Plant Manager's "right hand," owning day-to-day operations and resolving operational issues proactively.
  • Drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Environmental Health & Safety teams to ensure operational alignment.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and implement process improvements to improve efficiency, service, quality, and cost performance.
  • Support future operational scaling initiatives, system optimization efforts, and continued adoption of the company's enterprise resource planning platform.

The Successful Applicant

For the Operations Manager we are seeking:

  • Proven Operations Manager, Distribution Manager, Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager, or Supply Chain leadership experience.
  • Strong people leadership skills with experience developing supervisors and leading cross-functional operational teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing support functions.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement programmes including Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Operational Excellence, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of key operational metrics including productivity, service levels, inventory accuracy, safety, and cost control.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, chemical, industrial, consumer products, distribution, or process-driven environments.
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple departments and adapt communication styles to different stakeholder groups.
  • Previous experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
