Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading all operational activities across the site. This Operations Manager role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to influence performance, culture, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead daily production, blending, packaging, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency and equipment utilization.
  • Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives, process improvements, and cost reduction projects.
  • Ensure full compliance with environmental, health, safety, transportation, and manufacturing regulations.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, technicians, and production personnel while building a high-performance culture.
  • Monitor key operational metrics including safety, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, equipment effectiveness, and manufacturing costs.

The Successful Applicant

For the Operations Manager we are seeking:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial production, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading production teams, supervisors, and hourly workforce populations.
  • Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or operational excellence programs.
  • Experience managing production scheduling, plant performance metrics, and operational budgets.
  • Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to drive accountability, employee engagement, and a strong safety culture.
