Job Description

  • Manage and grow an existing ~$5M territory across the Midwest (Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners and end customers
  • Drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and introducing new product lines
  • Conduct regular in-person customer visits (approximately 50% travel required)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness
  • Partner closely with internal account specialists and inside sales teams, who handle order processing, quoting, and billing
  • Strong account retention and continued growth within an established book of business
  • Expansion of product adoption across existing customers
  • High customer satisfaction driven by responsiveness, reliability, and value-added relationships
  • Effective collaboration with internal teams to streamline operations and support sales efforts

The Successful Applicant

  • Prior experience in outside sales, territory management, or account management
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within a multi-state region (IL, IN, IA, MI, WI, MN)
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, and customer-focused approach
  • Experience within compressed air, filtration, or related industrial markets preferred
  • Open to both early-career, high-potential candidates and experienced industry professionals

What's on Offer

  • Base salary: $100,000 - $120,000
  • Quarterly incentive compensation (~$12,000 target, prorated based on performance and delivery)
