You will help drive production performance, team engagement, and compliance while ensuring operational targets are achieved safely and efficiently.Support daily packaging operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and communication standards are maintained.Train, mentor, and cross-train production employees to improve workforce capability and operational flexibility.Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices, standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.Coordinate production activities, troubleshoot operational issues, and escalate concerns as required.Monitor and maintain production records, batch documentation, work orders, and operational performance metrics.Support equipment changeovers, sanitation activities, and basic mechanical adjustments to maximize uptime.Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean manufacturing, 5S and operational excellence principles.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantFor the Packaging Lead, we are seeking:Minimum four years of experience within manufacturing, production, packaging, or a related operational environment.Experience working within regulated industries such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, medical devices, or consumer packaged goods.Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and quality compliance requirements.Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and 5S principles.Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and develop production teams.Comfortable reviewing production documentation and operational performance data.Basic computer proficiency and experience using manufacturing systems and reporting tools.Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.Spanish language skills would be advantageous.What's on OfferHourly rate of $26.00 - $31.00, dependent upon experience.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Four hundred and one(k) retirement plan with company match.Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave.Paid parental leave.Short-term and long-term disability coverage.Life insurance and employee wellness programs.Opportunity to join a growing organization.Career progression opportunities into supervisory and operational leadership positions.Interested?
