This position plays a critical role in providing financial clarity, supporting strategic decisions, and helping the plant achieve strong performance.

Job Description

  • Manage the plant's monthly financial close process, including production reporting, manufacturing variances, and overhead cost analysis.
  • Provide meaningful financial insights and performance analysis to help leadership make informed operational decisions.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators, operational metrics, and plant financial results.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity gains, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate the annual budget process and ongoing financial forecasting for the facility.
  • Maintain and enhance plant cost structures, including overhead allocation methodologies.
  • Support capital investment initiatives through financial evaluation, project tracking, and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Analyze manufacturing and production variances to improve efficiency, material utilization, and operational performance.
  • Oversee inventory controls, physical inventory counts, account reconciliations, and product costing accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements while maintaining financial integrity.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to financial reporting, systems, and business processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience working in manufacturing or operational finance environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional and operational leadership teams
