Job Description

  • Lead all manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, warehousing, planning, and site performance.
  • Foster a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company goals and customer requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, cost control, and quality enhancement.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop plant employees and leadership teams to achieve high levels of engagement and performance.
  • Manage plant budgets, resources, and operational priorities to deliver business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, technical, supply chain, and customer-facing stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to improve operational outcomes.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes, systems, and capabilities support future growth and business needs.
  • Provide visible, hands-on leadership across the facility while promoting accountability and operational discipline.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the chemical manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated success leading Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, employee development, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing plant operations, productivity improvements, and quality systems.
  • Proven ability to drive change and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of chemical process safety and safe handling procedures preferred.
  • Pigment or specialty chemical manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
