Job Description

  • Own overall site performance, including safety, quality, production, maintenance, warehousing, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans that align operational performance with customer demand and business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop site personnel while fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Champion a world-class safety culture and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with commercial, product management, R&D, and customer teams to support growth initiatives and operational success.
  • Drive process technology excellence and build long-term manufacturing capabilities that support future business needs.
  • Monitor costs, optimize operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for productivity improvements across the site.
  • Provide visible leadership on the manufacturing floor and maintain a hands-on approach to plant operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives.
  • Prior experience within chemical manufacturing or related process manufacturing operations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple operational functions while driving continuous improvement.
  • Experience ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline preferred.
  • SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of process safety management and chemical handling practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience within pigments, specialty chemicals, coatings, plastics, or similar industries is a plus.
