A rapidly growing food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a multi-shift production operation during an exciting phase of business expansion.This leader will have full responsibility for plant performance across safety, quality, production, maintenance, food safety, staffing, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Provide leadership for all plant operations functions
  • Drive operational performance through KPI ownership and accountability
  • Lead production, maintenance, quality, food safety, warehouse, and sanitation teams
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, labor efficiency, waste reduction, and customer service
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, and regulatory requirements
  • Build and develop front-line and mid-level leadership teams
  • Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process improvements
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence

The Successful Applicant

Requirements

  • Progressive leadership experience within food manufacturing
  • Proven success managing entire plant operations
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Experience managing production KPIs, labor expenses, quality performance, and maintenance reliability
  • Demonstrated track record leading large teams and developing leadership talent
  • Experience scaling operations in a growing manufacturing environment



Preferred

  • Consumer food manufacturing experience
  • Engineering background
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement certifications
  • SQF, HACCP, or Food Safety certifications
  • Multi-site or high-growth manufacturing experience

The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.The successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation.We offer comprehensive package of benefits including comprehensive medical benefits, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), PTO program, and company holidaysto eligible employees.
