Job Description

Operational Leadership

  • Lead all plant operations and establish performance expectations
  • Ensure achievement of production targets, service levels, and quality standards
  • Monitor and improve KPIs related to safety, labor, downtime, waste, yield, and productivity
  • Develop annual operating plans and support long-term capacity planning



Continuous Improvement

  • Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Eliminate waste and improve operational efficiency
  • Lead root-cause investigations and sustainable corrective actions
  • Drive process standardization and operational discipline



People Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and develop leadership teams
  • Strengthen accountability and employee engagement throughout the operation
  • Support succession planning and organizational development
  • Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, and performance



Quality & Food Safety

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and customer requirements
  • Maintain audit readiness across all operational functions
  • Partner with Quality leadership to uphold product integrity and traceability standards



Strategic Growth

  • Support facility expansion initiatives and capital investments
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on operational strategy
  • Improve capacity utilization and operational scalability
  • Lead change management initiatives aligned with business growth objectives

The Successful Applicant

  • Progressive leadership experience within food manufacturing
  • Proven success managing entire plant operations
  • Strong financial and operational acumen
  • Experience managing production KPIs, labor expenses, quality performance, and maintenance reliability
  • Demonstrated track record leading large teams and developing leadership talent
  • Experience scaling operations in a growing manufacturing environment

The salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual bonus.
