The company is known for its investment in technology, continuous improvement initiatives, and commitment to delivering innovative manufacturing solutions to leading OEM customers.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Lead automation, tooling, and capital equipment projects from concept through implementation.Develop and execute automation strategies that improve productivity, quality, and scalability.Serve as the technical lead for robotics, automation systems, controls, and manufacturing process integration.Design fixtures, tooling, and mechanical components using CAD software.Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling, and Quality teams to establish robust production processes.Identify root causes of manufacturing issues and implement long-term corrective actions.Support new product introductions and equipment validation activities.Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing waste, downtime, and operational costs.Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to automation performance and process capability.Develop automation standards, best practices, and documentation.Mentor engineers, technicians, and other technical personnel.Support machine safety initiatives, risk assessments, and compliance activities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
