Job Description

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects in the property industry.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope and budget.
  • Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for various project components.
  • Monitor project costs and provide updates to ensure budget compliance throughout the project life cycle.
  • Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of costs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Prepare and present cost analysis reports to stakeholders as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful estimator should:

  • 6+ years in estimating experience
  • Experience in the commercial background
  • Strong client-facing communication skills.
  • Experience in design‑build delivery.
  • Ability to lead while staying involved in execution.
  • Humble leadership style aligned with team-based values.
