Job Description

  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules during the preconstruction phase.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project scope and design requirements.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost estimates and value engineering options.
  • Lead preconstruction meetings and maintain effective communication with clients and project teams.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and identify potential risks or delays.
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations to improve project outcomes.
  • Support the transition of projects from preconstruction to construction phases.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Preconstruction Manager should have:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager
  • Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring estimating teams
  • Background in large-scale commercial construction projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-first mindset

$120,000 - $160,000 base salary + bonus potential

  • Vehicle allowance of approximately $650/month
