Our client is a family-owned general contractor with nearly 50 years of success delivering multifamily housing projects throughout the Southeast. The company has built a strong reputation within affordable housing, tax-credit developments, major renovations, and HUD-funded projects while continuing to expand into select commercial markets.

Job Description

  • Prepare conceptual, schematic, and hard-bid estimates for multifamily projects
  • Develop subcontractor relationships and manage bid solicitation efforts
  • Analyze plans, specifications, and budgets to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Support preconstruction strategy, value engineering, and project planning
  • Collaborate directly with ownership, operations, and project teams

The Successful Applicant

A successful Preconstruction Manager should have:

  • 4+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience with a general contractor
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
  • Background with affordable housing or tax-credit projects is a plus
  • Established subcontractor relationships and market knowledge preferred
  • Seeking a long-term growth opportunity within a leadership-driven organization
