Many of their team members have been with the company for decades, and they continue to invest in their people through continued education programs and a stable pipeline of projects.Job DescriptionCalculating the overall cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for construction projects.Reviewing construction drawings and evaluating project specifications.Developing cost estimates to support project planning, coordination, and scheduling.Overseeing pre-qualification processes and pre-bid submissions.Producing estimates aligned with project objectives, including labor hours, task sequencing, material procurement, and negotiating competitive pricing with vendors and subcontractors.Ensuring all required documentation and budgets are completed and submitted ahead of bid deadlines.Providing regular updates to management and maintaining clear communication with clients on project progress.Creating contingency strategies and managing risks that may affect budget and timelines.Staying current with industry advancements and emerging estimating tools and techniques.Working closely with internal teams, conducting site inspections, and supporting additional tasks such as bid submissions when needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
